The Pearl chapter 6

1 Who are the trackers?
 They are hunter. They good at track people. They have three people, one of them is ride on a horse and hold a gun. Two of them are find the trace of Kino.

2 What is Kino's plan to destroy the trackers?
  Kino want his wife and son wait in the hole at night. When two of trackers was sleeping, he climb down from the hole quietly, and assassinate the big tracker. But if Kino was die, he want his wife wait untie they leave.

3 What did one of the trackers do when he heard a cry the second time?
  He want to shoot to that area because he think that sound was come from wolf and he think it would stop it.

4 What had the tracker really killed?
  He kill Kino's baby.

5 Why did Kino and Juana always pray to God?
  Because they think God would protect them. They believe the song of god.

6 How has the vision of the pearl changed regarding: the rifle, the wedding, and Coyotito's education?
  He saw his son was killed by the rifle, and anything was gone including wedding and education.

7 Did Kino win his battle against society? Why?
  I think he lose his battle. Even if he kill the trackers, but his son was die. He want his son to be a leader, to study knowledge in a good university. But it already become impossible.

8 Why did Kino give Juana the pearl to throw away?
  Because the pearl destory his home and his son. His son is important for them. Now he think they don't need the pearl. It bring evil to them.

9 How do you think Kino and Juana feel after they had thrown the pearl back into the sea?
  I think they would feel good because since they got the pearl, everyone want to steal the pearl from them. It cause people to kill them, to burn their house. The last they lost their son. Now the pearl was gone. Everything would change. I think it is a bad experience for them.

10 What happens to Juana and Kino? Does it matter what happens to them? Why?
  This chapter Kino find that there have three trackers follow them. And Kino have a plan to safe his family and kill them. Finally the trackers was die but his son also die. It important for them because Kino's want to become rich and give train his son to be strong.

Valentino Rossi

   He is a famous rider in Motogp. He was born in Italy in 1979. He started to race in 1996. He had won 9^th world champion with different factory. So people call him “The Doctor”. If you love motorbike match. You must know Valentino Rossi.
   One reason of his famous is He has good technology of Motorbike. It cause he win champion with different factory. He joins the Honda 500cc group in 2000. Although this is his first time to ride Honda 500cc motorbike, but he win the 500cc champion in 2001. At that time he is not famous yet. In 2004, he joins the Yamaha factory from Honda. At that time Yamaha motorbike do not have competitive strength. The bike is weak. But very amazing, he win champion with Yamaha bike in 2004. That’s the reason why people call him “The Doctor”. It means he can win with his technology, make the factory famous. As like as a doctor, he can treat everyone.
   Second reason of his famous is his enthusiastic of bike. When he joins the Yamaha factory in 2004. Everyone think the bike is bad. But he doesn’t believe. He trusts his knowledge of bike. He thinks it can be better. He is very confidence and enthusiastic. So he started to develop the bike with Yamaha group. Finally, he won 4 times world champion with the Yamaha bike. Now YZR-M1 became one of the best motorbikes in match. We always see this bike can get the first position in match.
   Third reason of his famous is his attitude of race. According to these information. Many people would think he is a talent. Actually he is not. When he joins Motogp in 1996. He always defeat in match. But he never give up. He always thinks about his fail, practice and improve it. At that time most of rider lost the match would think the bike problem or something else. So his success is base on his attitude of race. He always smiles to fans and face his fail.
   In the history he is the only one people who win 9th world champion in Motorgp. Now he continues his rider life in Ducati team. He develops the Ducati bike now. I think it’s his challenge of rider. His attitude is worthy to learn. Let’s expect his performance in future.

The Pearl chapters 4 and 5

4 The pearl buyers is cheater. They group up and cheat Kino's pearl.5 I disapprove their actions. Original their personality is helpful skill. But they want to cheat Kino because Kino and his people don't know the pearl value. This is not fair for Kino.
6 It is because everyone want to cheat his pearl. Someone to kill him, to burn his house, to break his boat. This cause Kino kill this people who want to kill him. So he can't live in this place.
7 It is because Kino's brother after Kino would change after he get pearl. Money can change a people. Kino became sentitive of his pearl.
8 I think the pearl is a gambling. It also can say luck troll. But in this situation. The pearl can destroy Kino and his wife. Since they got pearl. So many catastrophe come to them.
9 He become sentitive. He can hit everyone in order to protect his pearl. He don't believe people.
10 Juana know Kino character. She love and trust him. She Suggest leave the tower. I agree with Juana.

One important part of my life

   I am Davy. I am currently 22 years old. I start to study in night school at 2007. Since that I work at day time and study at night. At first I feel so tired and hard because I can't adapt this type of life. I sleep in class so I got very low mark in test. At that time, I want to give up. I don't want to school anymore because I feel that I waste time in school.
   But one of my classmate change my view. He is 40 years old. He live in Zhuhai. He have a family.  Everyday he must wake up at 6 am for work and study in Macao at night. Even if this, his mark are very good. His average mark have 85. It is very great. I can't understand it! I ask him why you try hard to do everything. You are 40 years old. Why you want to get certificate. It's not meaningful. He look at me and smile. And then he told me something. He said " What is meaningful for you?  For me, I have a wife and a son. Even if  I am not rich, have not certificate. But they still love me. So I can fight for them. Everyday I go for work and study. Actually it's very tired. But I don't feel dejected becacuse I know my family are waiting for me. It's very happy for me. That's meaningful for my life! I can keep going. How about you?" I just say "I don't know" and he said" Keep going! Even if many frustration, don't give up. One day you would find your life and your value!"
  After few years. I graduate from that school and go university. Many time when you do something. In outside, there have not too much meaning. But inside, there have many deep meaning. If I give up at that time. My life would change.I would not met valuable friends in school and work place. I can learn many things from them. Each one have different advantage. That's worth to learn. Now I can understant that.

The Pearl chapter 3

1. Kino found the Pearl. The news travel very fast in the town because the town is small and people are relation. I think Macau is the same. Macao is small but there have many people live there.

2. He talk God with Kino. He hope that Kino to give some money to church.

3. Because the pearl are so big and almost no one see it before it appear. They think it was very precious.

4. He wants to get married with Juana. He wants to buy some clothes and shoes for them. He can own these if he can sell the pearl.

5. I think before Kino found the pearl. He have not a plan because he was poor. This is Kino’s personality change.

6. He thinks the priest want to take it from him. When the news was traveled. Everyone know that Kino have a big pearl. So he feels danger.

7. I think the doctor lie. Because he wants the pearl. Kino doesn’t know too much about illness. He can do or take something to cheat him.

8. The same with question eight. Kino doesn’t know too much about illness. May be the doctor is truth. He don’t know. He don’t want the baby die.

9. Because Kino own the pearl. Everyone is look at him. They want to be rich and steal the pearl from Kino.

10. They want to know Kino and his family future. They are curious. They agree with him.

The pearl

Chapter 1

1. Because they want to know what happened on Kino’s family. Some of them are Kino’s people.

2. Because the doctor only cure the rich people. Kino has not money and the doctor discriminate their race.

3. The doctor’s personality is ignorance, cruelty, avarice.

4. In the town. There was racial discrimination. Kino’s people were poor. He ask the doctor to save his baby but the doctor think it’s waste time to cure “little Indians”

5. The song is clear and soft. That song was very long ago. It’s an ancient song.

6. The song is the music of the enemy, of any foe of the family, a savage, secret, dangerous melody and underneath. It first appeared when the scorpion appear in their house and bite their baby.

Chapter 2

1. The section is Kino part. It shows the way to survive in ancient times.

2.  It shows the tradition. The canoe is Kino’s grandfather. He gave it to Kino’s father and his father transfer to him.

Chris Jordan is a famous photographer. He created photo from rubbish. Jordan was study music at UC Santa Barbara. But he was graduated from University of Texas at Austin. After that, he was study at a law school and then work in a law company. He felt regret that he could not concentrate on his photography. He work ten years in a law company. My dream



My piano

  My dream is to be a piano player.How did i choose this dream? When I was 8 years old. My neighbour was a violin teacher. The melody was attract me. Since that I realize what is music. But my family are not rich. My father was dead and I have three elder sister. So you can know that my mother was very hard to earn money everyday. It's impossible to pay my tuition.
  When I was 18 years old. I found a part-time job.So I can earn money by myself. At that time I met a piano teacher in Macao. She know my lurch.I only have to pay 400$mop for a month. It's very cheap! It's very useful for me because I can save more money for my family. She is a good teacher. you know? Learning piano is very difficult.Everyday you must practise at home when your friend was playing. Some times when I fail, when I want to give up. She also inspirit me and support me. I ever escape her class because I want to play with my friend, I don't want practise everyday. I want have freedom! But unlucky she know that. I think I was over. But she forgive me. She told me that everyone have this thought. But It's never mind. The important think is you remember how to come back and you must honest to face youself.
   I learn very much from my teacher. She change my life, my attitude. My dream change me a lot.
